The photo shows a blocked heat exchanger of a Glow worm fuel saver floor standing boiler due to lack of or no service. It was too late to save this boiler which nearly caused a fire because the airways are blocked and the flames were coming out from the sides of the boiler. Similar Video to this situation is posted in our youtube channel which is copied  to the left of the photo. Although this is not the same boiler , the dangerous situation was very similar.

When boilers are working properly we will completely forget about them and think that they  will work indefinitely. But unfortunately next time you will remember about the boiler is when you don’t get hot water or heating, or when some unexpected noise, a water leak comes from the boiler or worst, a co poisoning incident.

 UniC UK advice all our clients to have annual servicing on their boilers. This will not only maintain the boiler in a safe manner but also identify any signs of fatigue of the components, so they can be repaired or replaced and avoid total failure or failure to danger!

Preventative maintenance service will make sure that you are safe and any signs of failure can be addressed and fixed before it is too late!
